At MTSU, getting involved with cocurricular activities is not simply something we recommend to new students as a good idea. Getting involved is an expectation of everyone who claims to be True Blue\u2014it\u2019s an important part of the True Blue Pledge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The True Blue Pledge states, among other things, \u201cI am engaged in the life of this community. I am a giver and a recipient.\u201d We believe&nbsp; in the value that involvement can contribute to your success, and that is why&nbsp;<strong>CONNECTION POINT<\/strong>&nbsp;is an important part of your first-year experience. Attending Connection Point events will also provide you with an opportunity to interact with members of your class and upper-class students in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Every incoming freshman is expected to participate in at least four Connection Point activities during the first part of the fall semester. Make sure that Convocation is one of the events you plan to attend, and then pick at least three more. Don\u2019t feel compelled to stop at four events\u2014attend as many as you like.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connection Point events can be found on our campus life calendar at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mtsu.edu\/campuslife\/events\">https:\/\/mtsu.edu\/campuslife\/events<\/a>. Visit this calendar often as this is where you will find out if any events have changed (date, time, location, etc.) or if new events have been added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re so glad you are part of the Blue Raider Family.
