Greetings, Faculty Colleagues –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that the semester is winding down smoothly, and I hope to see many of you at commencement this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Canvas implementation is quickly accelerating, and I\u2019m sending along one final set of updates for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. About 225 early adopter courses are live in Canvas for Spring 2026, so special thanks to those of you getting a head start on our LMS transition. For everyone else, all MTSU courses will be in Canvas starting in\u00a0Summer 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. I strongly encourage you to dive into Canvas workshops, navigation, resources, and courses available through the\u00a0Canvas project website<\/a>, specifically the\u00a0faculty resources page<\/a>.\u00a0While Canvas is increasingly intuitive with consistent use, do not underestimate the learning curve involved for many of us.\u00a0In\u00a0short, some dedicated time daily or weekly will go a long way.\u00a0The Center for Teaching & Mentoring has already hosted and archived a range of\u00a0Canvas training and support<\/a>, with much more coming in Spring 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Finally, you can find details regarding Canvas course migration\/imports\u00a0here<\/a>. Many of you have asked specifically about how your courses will be impacted for Summer\/Fall 2026, and this document provides a great summary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
