This fund provides financial assistance (up to $2500) for undergraduate students participating in opportunities that will benefit the student\u2019s career goals and help develop core career competencies as described by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). This funding is available only for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled and taking classes at MTSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preference will be given to students:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>who have been offered an upcoming unpaid internship and\/or experiential learning opportunity and need financial assistance to participate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>who have an upcoming professional development opportunity (conference, etc.) and require a stipend to participate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the conclusion of your experience, you are required to give a 7-10-minute presentation OR write a 500-800 word essay describing how this experience helped you develop 2 or more of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naceweb.org\/uploadedfiles\/files\/2021\/resources\/nace-career-readiness-competencies-revised-apr-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">8 NACE career competencies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Fall opportunities:&nbsp;<strong>July 15th application deadline<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 notification of award by Aug. 1st<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Spring opportunities:&nbsp;<strong>Nov. 15th application deadline<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 notification of award by Dec. 1st<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Summer opportunities:&nbsp;<strong>Apr. 1st application deadline<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 notification of award by April 15th<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Number of scholarships awarded is dependent on funds available which may fluctuate per term.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe1jaJxjNaVfjksNvLdXQon6zG1NQXK3RgJa-ucDkEk-z4N4A\/viewform?vc=0&amp;c=0&amp;w=1&amp;flr=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click Here For Application<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Career Development Center administers the MTSU Cooperative Education Scholarship.
