Your MTSU email account is the required method of communication on campus. You are expected to use this for all school related matters and will need to get in the habit of checking this email account on a daily basis beginning today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For you to retrieve and setup your MTSU username and password, which is used for both PipelineMT and MTMail account logins, you will need to follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-compact-list\">\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mtsu.edu\/changepw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/mtsu.edu\/changepw<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the prompts to create a password and take note of your username listed in the body of that email surrounded by parentheses\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is usually your initials followed by a number and a letter (abc1a)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your MTMail address and account login will be&nbsp;<strong>username@mtmail.mtsu.edu<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If&nbsp;you have any trouble setting up or accessing your accounts, please contact the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mtsu.edu\/help\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ITD Help Desk&nbsp;<\/a>at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:help@mtsu.edu\">help@mtsu.edu<\/a>&nbsp;or 615-898-5345.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/w1.mtsu.edu\/email\/mtmail-faq.php\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/w1.mtsu.edu\/email\/mtmail-faq.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MTMail FAQ<\/a>&nbsp;page for common questions, instructions on how to set up a mobile device, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mtsu-blocks-expandable-item accordion-item expandable-heading expandable-heading-lightblock\"><h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingstep-2-complete-missing-requirements\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapsenewExpandablestep-2-complete-missing-requirements\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapsenewExpandablestep-2-complete-missing-requirements\">Step 2: Complete Missing Requirements\u00a0<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"collapsenewExpandablestep-2-complete-missing-requirements\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse expandable-content expandable-content-lightblock\" aria-labelledby=\"headingstep-2-complete-missing-requirements\" data-bs-parent=\"#newExpandable\"><div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p><strong>Send in missing Admissions items<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may still be missing some items we need in Admissions, like a final high school transcript&nbsp;or a college transcript if you attended dual enrollment somewhere.&nbsp; Students also have to show proof of citizenship, which you can do at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/how-to-apply\/evea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mtsu.edu\/evea<\/a>. You&#8217;ll receive letters and emails about missing Admissions requirements if applicable. Get those items to us at the earliest possible time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transcripts issued to the student or sent via email cannot be accepted. High school and college officials&nbsp;can use <a href=\"http:\/\/Slate.org\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"Slate.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slate.org<\/a> to send transcripts or we accept any electronic transcript services.&nbsp;Official Transcripts can also be mailed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MTSU Undergraduate Admissions<br>SSAC 120<br>1301 E. Main St.<br>Murfreesboro, TN&nbsp; 37132&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to submit new official test scores, please contact the testing agency directly to have the scores sent directly to MTSU.&nbsp; ACT scores can be ordered at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.act.org\/\">www.act.org<\/a>&nbsp;while SAT Scores can be ordered at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegeboard.org\/\">www.collegeboard.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Provide Immunization Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú state law requires that all students have the following vaccinations to be a full-time college student: Varicella (Chicken Pox) \u2013 2 doses or proof of disease and Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) \u2013 2 doses. Furthermore, all students under age 22 who will be living in on-campus housing must show proof of adequate immunization (after your 16th birthday) against meningitis prior to moving into on-campus housing. Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.ed.gov\/sa\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/fafsa.gov<\/a>&nbsp;to get started and make sure you list MTSU as your number one school with our school code&nbsp;<strong>003510<\/strong>. The priority deadline to complete the FAFSA for federal aid is&nbsp;February&nbsp;1st each year. There is a $350 pre-payment required with the application, which will be split and applied to your fall and spring bills. This occurs at our new student orientation sessions called New to Blue Orientation. Information about orientation will be sent out in March for incoming fall students, while sessions start in late May and run through July. For students starting in the spring you&#8217;ll receive information starting in October. At orientation, you meet with your academic advisor, register for classes, and learn a TON about life as a Blue Raider. Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/orientation\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/orientation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.mtsu.edu\/orientation\/<\/a>&nbsp;for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Join the Partner in Education (PIE) Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Partners In Education (PIE) program is designed to strengthen the three-way partnership&nbsp;among the student, the family, and the University so as to maximize support of the academic success of the student. By signing up for the PIE program, students may allow designated persons access to specific academic&nbsp;information otherwise protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act&nbsp;(FERPA). These designated persons will have access to grades and progress reports&nbsp;of their student members, letters concerning certain types of disciplinary dispensations,&nbsp;and may email the&nbsp;MT One Stop for other information&nbsp;related to their students. The program is optional, and students may withdraw permission to release information&nbsp;at any time.
