{"id":289,"date":"2024-05-14T19:06:28","date_gmt":"2024-05-14T19:06:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/living-on-campus\/?page_id=289"},"modified":"2026-04-21T20:51:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T20:51:50","slug":"guest","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/living-on-campus\/guest\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing Guest Apartments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MTSU Housing and Residential Life has a small number of Guest Apartments available within the Residence Halls.&nbsp;There are three 2-bedroom apartments, three 1-bedroom apartments, and two studio apartments. Seven of our apartments are completely furnished with a full kitchen and bathroom that includes kitchen items, bathroom furnishings, and linens for the apartment. One of the studio apartments is fully furnished with everything except a stove\/oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These apartments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are extremely well-utilized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*<em>MTSU Housing Guest Apartments can only house folks that are connected to the university, whether that be a visiting staff\/faculty\/research member, a featured scholar or professional for an MTSU-sponsored event, or a family\/guest of an MTSU Student. Any family members or guests of MTSU students MUST have the student send a confirmation from their MTSU Student Email approving the guest to stay on campus.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mtsu-blocks-expandable-block accordion expandable-group expandable-group-faq\" id=\"newExpandable\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mtsu-blocks-expandable-item accordion-item expandable-heading expandable-heading-faq\"><h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingguest-apartment-guidelines\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapsenewExpandableguest-apartment-guidelines\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapsenewExpandableguest-apartment-guidelines\">Guest Apartment Guidelines<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"collapsenewExpandableguest-apartment-guidelines\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse expandable-content expandable-content-faq\" aria-labelledby=\"headingguest-apartment-guidelines\" data-bs-parent=\"#newExpandable\"><div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Payment is due on the first day of stay (unless otherwise instructed), and then on that same day each month thereafter, if staying long-term.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guests are responsible for their own trash removal. There are dumpsters in every area, and each area&#8217;s front desk has trash bags, should more be needed. An extra trash bag can also be requested from Gracy 114, and each guest will be given one upon check-in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guests will be provided with a Linen Bag upon check-in. Any used linens (bed sets, towels, washcloths, etc) should be put into the linen bag before check-out so that the space can be turned over quickly and efficiently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any facilities issues can be report to the Housing Maintenance Office at 615-898-4116.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guest Apartment doors should be locked at all times. Many of the apartments are located in areas with students residing in the building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove all personal items upon checkout.
