Adding Proctor U to your D2L Course NavBar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside your online course:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Select the More <\/strong>button <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. go to Edit Course<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Navigation & Themes<\/strong> under Site Setup<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Locate the Active Navbar and click the Navbar’s blue title (If you are using the default Navbar, see below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select Add Links<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Locate Proctor U in the menu and check the box to the left<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Select the blue Add <\/strong>button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. The new ProctorU button will appear at the end of your list. You can move it to where you want it in the Navbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Select Save and Close<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. You should see it in your Navbar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    If you are using the default navbar, you must make a copy to add Proctor U.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Locate the Default Navbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Go to the arrow on the left of the title and select Copy – <\/strong>(It will appear below the default)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the blue title of the copy, follow steps 5-10 above<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to make the Navbar Copy the Active Navbar:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Active Navbar (under the blue button titled Create Navbar)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Use the arrow to locate the Navbar Copy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select Apply<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Remember: Record+ has no scheduling at all. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Once instructors configure the exam for proctoring, the students just have to click on that ProctorU link, access their dashboard and select to Start their Record+ exam. No scheduling, they will just see all open exams to begin in their account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
