What I found is that although the space is much larger, the community is very close knit. I am a non-traditional student, but with such a diverse and inclusive student body I simply feel like part of a family. Being surrounded by other students who work diligently to achieve their goals is a tremendous boost of inspiration. However, what drew us to this institution was it&#8217;s community values, diversity, and commitment to excellence. As psychology majors, the brand new psychology building (opening in 2020) is an exciting opportunity to explore and learn in a state-of-the-art facility. We are both non-traditional students, but here at MTSU we are simply part of a large family.
