Approved by Board of Trustees<\/strong> I. Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This policy outlines significant provisions for the administration of fees, fines, charges, and refunds at 乐播传媒入口 (MTSU or University).<\/p>\n\n\n\n II.<\/strong> Establishment of Fees, Fines, and Charges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n III.<\/strong> Approval of Exceptions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n IV. Appeals Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The University has established separate appeals processes for different types of fees, charges, and refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n V.<\/strong> Exchange of Revenue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Public institutions exchange funds for tuition and fees of employees\u2019 spouses and dependents who participate in an education assistance program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VI.<\/strong> Tuition and Fees Subject to Board Approval<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n VII.<\/strong> Fees, Fines, and Charges to be Established and Administered by the University<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The following fees, fines, and charges may be established and administered by the University. No specific approval or notification to the Board will be required, unless subject to other Board or State requirements. These charges should be governed by an approved contract and\/or approved by the Provost or the appropriate Vice President. The University will establish appropriate refund policies. Approval documents should be sent to the Office of Business and Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VIII.<\/strong> Deposits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A deposit may be established by the University for rent or lease of buildings and facilities, or for the issuance of other University property or equipment. Deposits should be subject to a one hundred percent (100%) refund if no damage or loss occurs. The amount of such deposits should be related to the value of the facilities or equipment subject to loss and the general ability of the University to secure reimbursement should loss or damage occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n IX.
