{"id":3500,"date":"2026-08-24T10:08:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T15:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/president\/?p=3500"},"modified":"2026-09-20T14:10:27","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T19:10:27","slug":"fall-2026-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/president\/fall-2026-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"FALL 2026 TECHNOLOGY"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 20px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Information Technology Division (ITD) staff works extremely hard to provide the resources needed to deliver and receive instruction and to provide business process modernization initiatives to help all of us do our jobs on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">True Blue Fusion is MTSU\u2019s multiyear initiative to modernize the University\u2019s human resources and financial systems by transitioning from Banner HR and Finance to Oracle Cloud. This project streamlines key processes, such as hiring, onboarding, absence reporting, payroll, procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting. Because these systems support every employee across campus, True Blue Fusion represents one of the most significant operational improvements in MTSU\u2019s history. The new platform will reduce manual processes while improving efficiency, accuracy, transparency, security, and access to information for data-informed decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the project progresses toward its January go-live, the True Blue Fusion team remains focused on preparing the campus community for a successful transition.
