SSS provides personalized support that complements major selection, academic progress, and the overall academic advising experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SSS counselors guide students through valuable campus resources within the Career and Development Center that assist in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/career\/resource-resumewriting\/\">resume development<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/career\/contact\/\">personalized career advising<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/career\/biginterview\">interviewing skills<\/a>.&nbsp;Members are also encouraged to get involved in Student Involvement and Leadership to develop interpersonal skills and build their resume through&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/volunteerrutherford.com\/\">volunteer opportunities<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sos.mtsu.edu\/\">service learning<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/w1.mtsu.edu\/idac\/\">intercultural engagement<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Graduate School&nbsp; SSS assists members with researching, applying to, and obtaining funding for graduate schools.
