Good Morning, Faculty Colleagues –
I鈥檓 sharing two last-minute Canvas reminders as we begin the new year:
- You should聽deliver聽your Spring 2026 courses in D2L if you are not registered with the Canvas team as a Spring 2026 early adopter.
- You will now see empty Spring 2026 course shells in Canvas, but聽students will not. These shells enable you to experiment with content creation, importing, and design, along with LMS navigation (as noted in my previous updates, which聽you can review here). They are not live courses.
- Please communicate clearly and directly with students regarding LMS content, since a very limited number of MTSU courses will be hosted in Canvas for Spring 2026. As you may remember, our early adopters will help us identify problems or issues that may affect other faculty in Summer 2026 and beyond.
