Assistance for People with Visual Disabilities

MTSU has partnered with聽聽to provide access to visual content and experiences offered by the campus to those with limited or no vision.聽By using the Aira app, anyone聽with low or no vision will be connected to a trained representative who will assist in navigating聽MTSU through audio descriptions.

There is no cost to students, faculty, staff, or visitors with vision impairments to use this service on the main campus or satellite locations.

How To Use Aira

1. Download the Aira app to your personal device
2. Create a profile by inputting your phone number and giving permissions to access your device’s location and camera
3. Place a call
4. You will be connected with an agent trained in audio description
