In this month鈥檚 issue of the MTSU Online newsletter we offer a new self-paced AI course for faculty that introduces generative AI basics, responsible use, prompting strategies, and practical applications for course development and teaching support. Faculty are also encouraged to take advantage of Canvas transition resources, including Q&A sessions, a Canvas Intensive Retreat, and training materials available through the Center for Teaching & Mentoring. The newsletter highlights upcoming professional development events on Quality Matters, ProctorU, and online teaching, while emphasizing the importance of ADA compliance by the 2027 deadline. Additional opportunities include becoming a Quality Matters peer reviewer, accessing tutoring resources through Tutor.com and the Writing Center, and utilizing new institutional memberships with UPCEA and the Online Learning Consortium.
