Guide to Accessing your Proctored Activity in D2L


Points to remember:
- You will not see your exam in ProctorU until the exam opens.
- You do not need to schedule a time to take your proctored activity.
- Select the ProctorU button in the top Nav Bar and take the exam in the time frame your instructor has set.
- Do not go to the ProctorU website to take your exam. All proctored activities are accessed through D2L.
- You will need a computer with a camera and your student ID to take the exam.
Steps to accessing your Proctored activity through D2L and ProctorU
1- Do Not go to the ProctorU website.

5- Find an Acceptable Space to Take Your Exam. The environment needs to be quiet, well-lit, and away from other people.

8- Login to with the Guardian Browser – Do Not use any other browser!
9- Click the ProctorU button in the top navbar. Do Not click the Quizzes button.

10-You will see the list of quizzes being proctored.
11- Locate the quiz you want to take, then click the blue title.
12- It will start the quiz. – You Do Not schedule exams with ProctorU. You can only take the quiz during the exam window, set by your instructor.
