This free 24/7/361 online tutoring service is designed to complement our existing academic support services and offer students additional avenues for learning and growth. Tutor.com is accessed through each D2L course homepage.
Note: Tutor.com is not available on New Year’s, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Students will be able to:
- Connect one-on-one with one of the 3,000+ highly qualified tutors
- View recordings of their previous sessions
- Drop off an essay for review and feedback
- Save their favorite tutors and see their schedule of availability
Key Features of Tutor.com Faculty Portal:
- A dashboard with the number of sessions your students attended, average session length, and number of early alerts.
- On-demand reports available on individual sessions with transcripts accessible to faculty, specific topics within your course where students are requesting support, and early alerts.
- Faculty can opt in to receive early alerts to see which students may need extra support in the course. Early alerts include low prerequisite knowledge, low content mastery, unusually long session, and frequent subject request.
