Fresh, Fit, and Well

ABOUT

Fresh to MTSU and聽interested in fitness, nutrition, and wellness? Open to all Freshman/First-Year students, this 8-week hybrid program聽covers it all! Groups will be 4-6 people (you can request to be in a group with friends!)

Great for those who have no experience in a gym, to those who played sports in high school and are looking to maintain a structured fitness routine. We have trainers with a wide range of fitness backgrounds and experiences, and we pride ourselves on creating welcoming programs for everyone!

Space is limited, so make sure to keep an eye on your email. The Interest Form does not guarantee a spot. Your payment must be made once registration is open to secure your spot.

PROGRAM SEGMENTS

Training Sessions

  • Designed for all levels and abilities
  • Complete small group workouts led by Certified Personal Trainers and Fitness Specialists
  • Times scheduled based on your availability (schedules collected following registration)
  • No sessions the week of Fall Break

8 Dimensions of Wellness & Resources

  • Learn about the 8 dimensions of wellness & wellness programming happening on Campus
  • Receive information for wellness resources on- and off-campus related to each dimension

Nutrition Education

  • Meet 1:1 with a member of the Nutrition Team (MTSU Nutrition & Food Science students) for education and guidance on nutrition basics
  • For questions beyond their scope of practice and specific health needs, they will connect you with the free Registered Dietitian on campus

Small Group Setting

  • Groups will be 4-6 people (you can request to be in a group with friends!)
  • Complete workouts in small groups with the trainer, then plan additional times to meet for workouts with your group
